99. Le déjeuner et une promenade avec Noah dans la grande ville // Lunch and a walk with Noah in the big smoke

Aujourd’hui Noah voulait aller pour le déjeuner – il n’y avait pas une bonne raison de dire non, alors je l’ai pris à Perpignan, et nous avons trouvé un café pas cher et a eu un déjeuner pas très mémorable qui Noah trouva très excitant.

Ensuite, nous marchions dans les rues désertes de Perpignan – il est étrange de voir tout aussi vide, mais ici en France, et certainement ici dans le sud les dimanches ont toujours respectée comme une journée en famille. Si différente au Royaume-Uni – c’est agréable d’avoir une journée facile!

Perpignan est petit, mais joli. En regardant vers le conflent c’est agréable de voir de la neige sur la montagne, et d’avoir une belle journée ensoleillée à pied dans la ville!

Today Noah wanted to go for lunch – there wasn’t a good reason to say no, so I took him to Perpignan, and we found a cheap café and had a not very memorable lunch which Noah found very exciting.

Then we walked the deserted streets of Perpignan – it was strange to see everything so empty, but here in France, and certainly here in the South Sunday is still respected as a family day. So different to the UK – it’s nice to have an easy day!

Perpignan is small, but pretty. Looking towards the conflent it’s nice to see snow on the mountain, and to have such a lovely sunny day walking in the city!
